Dr. Monica Hemmen attended the University of South Florida in Tampa, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Pre-Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She finished her doctoral studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 2006, receiving a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree, graduating Magna Cum Laude and was on the President's Honors List for Outstanding Academic Achievement.
Dr. Hemmen continues to build on her knowledge and experience in the diagnosis and treatment of spine and joint disorders by actively participating in many chiropractic, acupuncture, health, and wellness seminars. She is National Board Certified in Physiotherapy, back injury protection by the American Red Cross, and is certified in Classical Clinical Acupuncture. She is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, as well as the North Carolina Chiropractic Association. Dr. Hemmen is licensed to practice in the state of North Carolina.
